Make a list
I always underestimated the value of making lists until I seriously put this into practice. How many people do you know that go shopping without a shopping list or pack to go away without first pre-planning and writing down or mentally making a list of what they wish to take. These actions usually end up with you buying everything you didn’t need or packing to many pairs of socks and not enough clothing to go with it.
Clear lists of what we wish to achieve in our lives give us a bench mark to compare were we are and if we are in fact going in the right direction. These lists also act as the basis for our goal setting, the two-work hand in hand. We make a list, from the list we set goals and a definitive path to achieve these goals. We then re-evaluate our lists and re-set future as we achieve the ones we have already set.
Making a list also helps us see in actual words what we wish to achieve, so they are no longer just a thought, they are captured for us to constantly refer to when we need affirmation/confirmation of if this is in actual fact what we want out of life, they are however not set in stone and your lists will constantly change and be updated as you grow and change in the right direction.
Our lists don’t need to be extremely structured to start with they just need to be started, this is the most important part of your list, you need to start one before you can stick to it. If your first list is anything like mine it will just be a tally of dreams, rough ramblings if you like but it is a list and from that one list many more have grown
